DescriptionThe Dartington Hall workshop on Tipping Points in the Earth System, incorporating General Assembly for TiPES runs from evening Monday 12th to afternoon Friday 16th September 2022. The Workshop is being organised as part of TiPES by Peter Ashwin, Julian Newman and Lea Oljaca (University of Exeter), Peter Ditlevsen and Helle Astrid Kjær (University of Copenhagen), Denis-Didier Rousseau (University of Montpelier) and Niklas Boers (TU Munich). For Monday 12th Sept 2022 we have arranged to join the meeting Tipping Points: from Climate Crisis to Positive Transformation held at Exeter. This has a separate registration page where you need to sign up for the Monday only. We will provide transport from Exeter to the workshop venue on Monday evening. The conference fee is £160; this is a day delegate rate for Tuesday to Friday, including lunch but not conference dinner, evening meals or accommodation. When booking, you can choose to add additional items such as on-site accommodation with evening meal, bed and breakfast at Dartington Hall for Tuesday and Thursday. Bed and breakfast only is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights. There will be a conference dinner on Wednesday evening.

Once you choose "Book event" there are optionss to book accommodation. These are avaliable until 15th August 2022 on a first come, first served basis. When these are full we recommend you book accommodation in nearby Totnes.

Travel to/from the meeting: Note that Dartington Hall is about 40 mins walk or 7 mins taxi ride from Totnes railway station, offering fast connections to/from London Paddington via Exeter.
Monday activities: You may be interested in the Exeter conference Tipping Points: from Climate Crisis to Positive Transformation *just for the Monday 12th Sept* via the website https://global-tipping-points.org/. The attendance fee for monday is £80 regular, £50 for PhD students. We will join the Monday activities from 12:00 - 19:30, and there will be a place to meet and chat/collaborate from 09:00 for those arriving earlier. We will organize transport from Exeter to Dartington Hall that evening.
