DescriptionThe 9th Meeting of the Study Group on Genetics of Diabetes (SGGD) will be held in Exeter on 17th – 19th April 2024. The meeting will be an opportunity to meet people – scientists, clinicians, and other professionals – who actively participate in research in the field of (epi)genomics of diabetes, its complications and related diseases. The programme will include a mixture of keynote lectures, invited talks and oral presentations from early-career scientists, as well as poster discussions ensuring an excellent and stimulating scientific environment. We are looking forward to seeing you in Exeter! We are pleased to offer an 'early-bird' rate for registration. This offer is available for all those registering before Friday 8th February 2024. Your registration includes: Wed 17th April – The meeting starts with Lunch, then afternoon sessions and evening wine reception. Thurs 18th April – Full day of sessions, lunch and dinner provided. Friday 19th April – Morning sessions and then the meeting closes with lunch. Please do let us know in advance of any dietary requirements when registering. Accommodation is not included in the registration fee, please book this separately. Exeter offers a wide range of hotel options to suit different budgets. Cancellation policy: To cancel a registration, registrants must email a request to the organising committee via [email protected] before Wednesday 10th April 2024. Cancellations are subject to a non-refundable cancellation fee of £50.00 however there will be no charge to cancel your registration if you identify a replacement delegate who can attend in your place. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 8th April 2024 except in exceptional circumstances.
