Primary Enrichment Programme: Summer 2022
We offer an exciting and comprehensive range of one-day activities for children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6) across the autumn, spring and summer term. Our latest programme of events now includes a small selection of after-school clubs, enabling enrichment opportunities to continue beyond the end of the school day.
Our aim has always been to create an environment in which children can immerse themselves in collaborative and inspiring activities; to develop new and existing skills and interests; to feel motivated by practical, hands-on learning; and to meet other like-minded children, all within the context of a Higher Education setting.
We welcome Key Stage 2 children from every background, from state education to home schooling. Our workshops are especially suited to those who demonstrate a particular interest or skill in a subject. We are committed to supporting the participation of pupils in receipt of Pupil Premium funding and welcome you to get in touch with us to discuss applying for a free place.
All children participating in our events are supervised by a member of our team. All activities undergo a rigorous risk assessment, and we have fully trained first aiders on site. Tutors are DBS checked.
In light of the Government’s ‘Living with COVID’ plan, the university is continuing with a phased and gradual approach to the removal of COVID-19 measures on our campuses. It is not mandatory, but the university continues to recommend that colleagues, students and visitors wear face coverings in shared indoor spaces that are crowded and enclosed and where you may meet people you do not usually meet.
