The UKMMN Acoustic Metamaterials Conference 2025

Format: Conference. The UK Metamaterials Network (UKMMN) 2025 Conference on Acoustic Metamaterials will bring together leading experts from academia and industry to exchange recent advances and plan future endeavours in the fundamentals and applications of acoustic metamaterials. The event will take place from 9th to 11th April 2025 at Reed Hall, University of Exeter, United Kingdom. The first two days will be dedicated to invited talks from distinguished speakers coming from many different areas related to acoustic metamaterials and adjacent fields. There will be a wide range of topics covered in the talks, from theoretical foundations, experiments, and simulation methods to industrial showcases and multi-disciplinary research involving acoustic metamaterials. The morning of the last conference day will be dedicated to an optional grant proposal idea development workshop in which participants will be able to come together in a match-making format to talk to potential collaborators about open problems and possible solutions that can be explored in future research projects.
