Discs on the Exe 2026

Description

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the creation of the Astrophysics Group at the University of Exeter, we are pleased to announce the international conference “Discs on the Exe”. The conference will cover observations and theory of circumstellar discs, ranging from the formation of discs during star formation, to the processes involved in the formation of planetary systems and shaping of debris discs. Particular topics will include:

  • Protoplanetary disc formation, clusters and Class 0/I discs.
  • Protoplanetary disc structures and their evolution.
  • Planets in discs and how they shape them
  • Disc chemistry
  • Protoplanetary disc dispersal and debris discs
