Welcome to the land of mystery and history, where every rock has a tale to tell! 

Dartmoor is Devon’s heart, and home to a wealth of geological, historical, natural and mythical stories that have helped shape the Devonians that now live here. 

Come along and join the road trip into the depths of Dartmoor National Park. Spot the wild ponies that gallop through the heather, the beautiful and dramatic views of the tors and valleys, learn about the dark history of Dartmoor Prison, and explore ancient settlements that have been here for millennia. 

 

Detailed Description

You will be picked up from your accommodation and dropped back at the end of the day. The plan is to visit Princetown Prison Museum, the bronze age settlement at Grimspound, the pretty village of Widecombe for lunch and the atmospheric Hound Tor. 

The tickets are non-refundable, but you can arrange to transfer your ticket to someone else in the ISS if you cannot attend.
