Tree Seed Collection Event - 1st November 2024

Friday 1st November 2024 - 10am to 1pm - meet outside Reed Hall

Open to all University staff and students.

Please join the Grounds team for a tree seed collection event to collect seeds from our diverse collection of trees on Streatham Campus. The seeds will grow our next generation of trees, ensuring our beautiful campus continues to support biodiversity in the face of climate change.

You will learn about a wide variety of tree species, the current threats facing our tree population and the importance of tree seed collection in protecting the future of healthy and biodiverse woodlands.

Please wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing and bring a drink. Gardening gloves will be provided, as you will be picking through seeds and leaves.

No previous experience is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved!

Please note these sessions are open to University staff and students only - we cannot accommodate family members, friends, dependents or individuals who are not affiliated with the University.
