EMBO Workshop: RNA 3' ends and beyond 2026

The inaugural FAILSAFE international scientific conference, Tackling the Global Threat of Fungal AMR, will convene internationally recognised leaders in fAMR research, interdisciplinary (clinical and non-clinical) researchers and early-career researchers (ECRs) as well as the global community of FAILSAFE awardees. Thematic focus of the conference:

•Cellular & molecular basis of fAMR

•Drug discovery, modes of action & combination therapy

•One health, surveillance and environmental drivers

•Clinical management

We are delighted to announce that the 5th annual UK based Galleria Mellonella Workshop will return to Exeter in September 2026. 

The event will run over two days, with the option to attend either day OR both together:

8th September 2026, 9.30am - 4.30pm: Research seminar day, with plenary lecture from Professor Kevin Kavangh (Maynooth University) 

9th September 2026, 9.30am-1.30pm: Hands on workshop day, covering rearing, dissection and injection (limited spaces)
