What will the delegate package include

• Full registration for the 2-day event
• Accommodation for night of 9 November (bed and breakfast). This also includes complimentary Wi-Fi in room, complimentary bottled drinking water and swimming pool and 24-hour fitness centre access. Check-in time is 14:00 on arrival date and check-out time is 12:00 on departure date.
• Conference dinner on 9 November (set menu)
• Lunch on both days at the The Market@5 restaurant (international buffet)
• Conference welcome bag
• Free-flow coffee and tea selection throughout the event
• Morning and afternoon breaks with items of snack, assorted fresh fruit, herbal drinks
• Drinking water and candies

CMM-FAILSAFE Membership: To register for this event, you’ll need to be a member of the CMM–FAILSAFE Medical Mycology Network. Membership is free and only takes a couple of minutes—please join the Network before completing your event registration.

Ticket types available and costs: 

• LMIC & ECR concession tickets (£100) – 

  LMIC: This scheme is open to LMIC residents (as defined by the OECD list) and to ECRs. To register at the LMIC rate, you must live and work in a low- or middle-income country and be employed by an LMIC-based institution/organisation. We will ask you to confirm your eligibility during registration and may request supporting evidence (for example, an institutional email address or proof of employment) as part of our verification process.

  ECR /Students: ECRs will be undertaking or have completed a substantive period of research training relevant to their discipline (for example, a PhD in the life sciences, an MD or an equivalent higher research degree). You may also have some postdoctoral experience in your proposed field of study, but no more than eight years at the point of the application deadline unless you can demonstrate how other factors have impacted on your research career. You may already be in receipt of independent research funding.

• Early Bird (all other delegates; £180) – If you do not meet the LMIC/ECR concession criteria above, please select the Early Bird ticket. Early-bird registration is open from 2 March to 28 April; we recommend registering early to secure your place at the reduced rate, as prices will increase after 29 April.

• Standard rate from 29th April (all other delegates; £250) – The standard ticket price will rise to £250 after 30th April if you miss the early bird offer. We strongly encourage you to secure your ticket now at the discounted rate.

Refunds and transfers: 

Registration fees are non-refundable and we are unable to offer refunds for this event. If you are no longer able to attend, you may transfer your registration to another member of your team; to arrange a transfer, please notify the FAILSAFE team in writing no later than 14 October 2026 (after this date we may be unable to process changes to the attendee list).

Successful bursary awards are non-transferable. If you apply for (or are awarded) a bursary and later find you can no longer attend, the bursary will be forfeited and cannot be passed to someone else.
