This one-day event is open to all GW4 departments and offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the latest advances in imaging science. Connect with researchers, facility teams, and industry experts, and discover cutting-edge developments across light microscopy, electron microscopy, physical imaging, and multi-modal technologies. The day will feature talks from leading academic and industry figures, opportunities for networking, and an exhibition showcasing the latest imaging technologies.
GW4 Cytometry Computing Workshop 2025DescriptionA two-day expert-led data science workshop from R programming fundamentals, data QC and visualisation, high-dimensional cytomics and machine learning workflows. Participants will learn reproducible and scalable tools for cytometry analysis, including data cleaning, visualisation, automated gating, clustering and machine learning approaches. Shackleton Conference 2025DescriptionAbstract deadline is 25th August 2025 Shackleton Conference 2025 Submerged Quaternary Landscapes 22nd September 2025 at the Geological Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London The fourth Shackleton Conference will focus on vanished landscapes; the seafloor as a geological palimpsest retaining sketchy evidence for Quaternary landscapes that have been erased by the effects of ice sheets, tidal dynamics and marine transgression. We’ll be looking for abstracts related to any of the session topics below,
