DescriptionTwo-term course (52 hours): 10 lessons in April 2025 28th April, 5th May, 12th May, 19th May 26th May, 2nd June, 9th June, 16th June, 23th June and 30th July. 11 lessons From September 2025 29th September, 6th October, 13th October, 20th October, 27th October, 3rd November, 10th November, 17th November, 24th November, 1st December and 8th December. This qualification is designed to enable learners to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use. The specification has been designed to be consistent with the National Language Standards at Level 1. Open to all adults over 18.
