DescriptionThis course will be delivered on campus Term 1 - 28th Sep, 5th Oct, 12th Oct, 19th Oct, 2nd Nov, 9th Nov, 16th Nov, 23rd Nov, 30th Nov, 7th Dec, 14th Dec 2026 (21 weeks) Term 2 - 11th Jan, 18th Jan, 25th Jan, 1st Feb, 8th Feb, 22nd Feb, 1st Mar, 8th Mar, 15th Mar, 22nd Mar 2027 (10 weeks) This qualification is designed to enable learners to communicate with deaf people in British Sign Language (BSL) on a range of topics that involve simple, everyday language use. The specification has been designed to be consistent with the National Language Standards at Level 1. Open to all adults over 18. Paid in advance for one full course.
