Detailed Description
Date: Saturday 17 May 2025
Time: 8:30am (start of first walking loop) – Finish by 5:00pm
Venue: Start and finish at Streatham Campus, University of Exeter
Cost: £10pp registration and £70pp minimum in donations raised
With statistics like 1 in 4 of our young people facing mental ill-health, the outlook is a daunting one. With initiatives and awareness around mental health being so vital, this is our opportunity to actively make change!
Our walk will start at Streatham Campus, and will travel the outskirts of Exeter through two scenic 10-mile loops which cross back through the campus at the end of each section; this means you can join us for just one, or both of the two loops. The walk will be led by professional walk leaders from local organisation RVONE.
We will be raising vital funds to support the Children and Young People’s Mental Health (ChYMe) project, a key area of research within Exeter’s faculty of Health and Life Sciences.
To register please add a ticket to the basket and if you wish to bring another participant please ensure you have added another ticket to the basket.
Once you’ve registered, please direct all your donations to the fundraising page and share the link with friends and family who may wish to support you on your journey!
We will supply a thank you t-shirt and medal for all successful participants and there will be refreshments on campus at the halfway point for everyone taking part!
