The Veg Heads volunteer sessions are held fortnightly on Thursdays 2pm to 4pm throughout April to October.

The sessions are run by the University Grounds team and are open to all University staff and students who would like to be involved in the ongoing maintenance of the Grounds veg garden and growing vegetables that are used in University kitchens.

The sessions will be based at the Grounds veg garden at the top of Streatham Campus; what3words ///bills.ages.coins.

No previous experience is required, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in!

Tools and training will be provided.

Please wear suitable footwear and outdoor clothing and bring a drink. If we are lucky enough to have a sunny day, please also bring a hat and sun cream.

Please note these sessions are open to University staff and students only - we cannot accommodate family members, friends, dependents or individuals who are not affiliated with the University.

If bad weather is predicted on the Met Office forecast, we will cancel the event by email no later than one day prior to the event.

If  you can't make the event, no worries! Please just email [email protected], to let us know, so that your place can be re-opened and available for others.
