This 8 day training course is aimed at qualified High Intensity CBT therapists who have completed their core HI CBT training and are perinatal champions in their NHS Talking Therapies service, or would like to develop their perinatal competence. The course will cover perinatal awareness, assessment and formulation, engagement, working with perinatal loss, and how to adapt High Intensity CBT interventions for depression, phobias, OCD and PTSD in the perinatal period.

The training aligns to the IAPT Perinatal Competency Framework (O’Mahen & Healy, 2021) and includes both didactic and interactive group-based learning.

Please note if you have previously attended a ‘Level One Perinatal Awareness’ workshop with the University of Exeter you only need to attend for part of day 1 rather than the full day.
