Portuguese Beginners evening course. This non-credit bearing weekly course is intended for complete beginners who wish to explore Portuguese for the first time. Participants will develop some basic reading, listening, speaking and writing skills through a series of task-oriented sessions and will be provided with informal formative feedback during contact hours. The completion level of the course is broadly equivalent to the A1.1 level of the Common European Framework.

This course is focussed on developing oral and written comprehension and expression in order to facilitate success in the ­­­­DELE B1 exam. 

Students will practise the four skills and will get used to the methodology of the exam with an accredited examiner.  Participants will be asked to complete exercises at home every week to consolidate their progress in class.
